Our Cardiac Program at New Summit Rehabilitation and Healthcare is designed around each individual persons needs and current disease state. We provide in depth, and comprehensive analysis of all current medical conditions, as well as a historical recap to allow us to treat the whole individual to truly slow the disease progression to minimize risks. This approach allows for a more accurate prognosis for the individual, and as a result, more specific, appropriate healthcare plan.
Family Involvement
Research has shown that individuals who have involved family have better functional outcomes. In many cases, the family is the surrogate decision-maker for the individual and is the only resource for information about what the injured individual’s likes, dislikes, goals, or wishes would be. At New Summit Rehabilitation and Healthcare, we believe that family involvement in the rehabilitation process is critical for the patient’s best recovery.
